Slay the Spire is a game that will always be recommended to you if you are looking for card games. It’s a super fun, procedurally generated deck-building game where you take on monsters, battling using your cards, as you follow a path that you get to influence. There are artifacts to change how the game works, places where you can upgrade or destroy your cards, and each playthrough is different! Slay the Spire takes quite some practise to master and is a really fun card game for Switch.

Within this game, there is a card game called Joustus, that allows you to become the king of the cards by using your cards wisely and battling against opponents using your deck. SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech is an adventure RPG, where you can use your cards to battle against loads of enemies that are in your way. You can lead your hero through a beautiful world, finding treasure, dragons, knights and more, as you build your deck and defeat those who come against you. The graphic style is a mix of fantasy and robots, the battles are turn-based, and there are tons of little pockets of humour throughout the game.
Frost is a survival card game where you are looking to survive the cold, getting closer to safety as you make decisions that affect yourself and those who travel with you. Your choices are always done through cards, so you will need to interact with anything that you come up against, deciding if you want to use resources to stop something, add someone to your group, or leave someone behind. There are many paths you can take – but you’ll need a lot of luck to make it far.
Shephy is a cute card game where you are looking to play cards to make more sheep, and then take over the entire world. You will start off with one sheep, but after a few turns, can easily have tons of sheep to take care of. Your goal is to get to 1000 sheep, which can be done through event cards that multiple your herd, but some cards can cause bad effects, so you will need to think before you place a card.
