Dead Cells’ first paid DLC gets a February release date on PC and consoles

Developer Motion Twin’s superb action-platform rogue-like Dead Cells is, as announced at the tail-end of last year, poised to usher in its first paid DLC. It’s called The Bad Seed and is now confirmed to be heading to PC, Switch, PS4, and Xbox One, on 11th February.

The Bad Seed’s biggest additions come in the form of two new biomes. There’s the lush Arboretum (home to a clan of mushrooms), and an overgrown settlement known as The Swamp, inhabited by tree-dwelling mutants, frogmen, and deadly bloodsuckers.

These new areas are intended to offer new path choices for Dead Cells’ early game, and provide alternative routes to The Courtyard/Toxic Sewers and The Ramparts/Ossuary/Ancient Sewers.
